The Story : Velu (Vijay) is a village guy who stays with his widowed mother, beautiful sister Kaveri (Saranya Mohan) and Vaidhiyalakshmi (Hansikha). Due to his sister's marriage, Velu travels to Chennai to receive the amount he invested in a cash scheme. There he meets Genelia who is a journalist harassed by Abhimanyu Singh, who happens to be a mafia don. When Velu comes to know that he is cheated by the scheme, Velu then single-handedly tries to stop the corruption and also the villain.
